Is your degree doing for you what you hoped it would?
Is your degree doing for you what you hoped it would?
You went back to school because you wanted more: a different role, a different title, a different level of impact. But now the degree is done, and the doors are not opening as fast as you thought they would. You can feel like you're working hard, waiting for someone to “use” this new version of you.
Pull one thing from your program – a framework, a question, a way of seeing waste or risk – and use it where you are today. Use it to make one process smoother, one handoff safer, one tray or scope more reliable.
When you do that, you are not “stuck.” You are building visible quality work that travels with you, no matter what your title says.
Your degree is a tool, not a ticket. Quality is what you do every day with the tools you already have, in the role you are in right now.
