Sometimes the best quality tool is a sticky note.

Sometimes the best quality tool is a sticky note.

At one hospital, we tried a ‘Quality Bingo’ week in sterile processing:
- spot a near miss and speak up
- teach a coworker a safer way to do something
- catch a documentation issue before it hits the patient
- bring one idea to huddle that makes the work easier and safer

No prizes, just shout-outs, recognition, and bragging rights.
The result: more voices, more eyes on the process, and better catches.

I've used different versions of this across different hospitals to get teams talking about Quality without the eye rolls.

I think quality lands best when it feels like something we do together on purpose, not something that happens to people after an audit.
