The art of introducing yourself:

 The art of introducing yourself:

Most of the time, people meet your name and your title: “This is Jordan. They’ll be working with us.” Helpful, but incomplete. Quality starts with clarity about who is in the room and what they are here to do. Even if someone else introduces you, don’t stop there. Use that moment to step in and say: here’s who I am, here’s what I’ve done, here’s why I’m here with you, and here’s what I hope we accomplish together. One small, real detail about yourself can make you easier to approach.

Back to Basics: Don’t just tell people your name. Tell them who just walked in.
